Kanken Frost Green-Chess Pattern Backpack Description

The Kanken Frost Green-Chess Pattern backpack comes from Swedish imprint Fjallraven and is outfitted with the superior Scandinavian design features for which the country is famous.

Coming in a plethora of bold colour options the Kanken is constructed from advanced weatherproof fabrics that are also kind to the environment. This versatile bag, which has a large external pocket as well as an inner pocket, features dual grab handles along with adjustable back straps so it can be carried as a backpack or a carrier bag. The square bag is full of clean lines and is finished off with Fjallraven's iconic 'Artic Fox' logo to the front.

The kanken Frost Green-Chess Pattern backpack material is hard-wearing, lightweight Vinylon F fabric that is able to withstand dirt and wetness. The spacious main compartment has a large opening with a zip, which makes it easy to pack and unpack. It has two flat side pockets and a zipped pocket on the front, perfect for those bits and bobs that you want to keep close at hand. The included PE foam seat cushion is stored in the interior back pocket where it prevents the contents of the backpack from poking against your back.

Classic Kånken backpack in sturdy Vinylon fabric with a zipperAllowing the main compartment to be fully opened. Seat cushion removable, small front pocket, single shoulder straps and handles at the top.

The carrying system is simple and consists of handles at the top with slender, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is reflective. It also has an address label inside the main compartment.

The Kånken Frost Green-Chess Pattern bag by Fjällräven is a best-selling backpack, made of high quality vinyl F material. The backpack has a zip and front pocket with zipper. The backpack is finished with matching details such as the polyester handles on the top and the back straps. By using high quality materials, the backpack will only become more beautiful over the years. The back straps can be adjusted to any position by means of the sliding buckles. The Kånken Frost Green-Chess Pattern backpack can also be used as a handbag, thanks to the handy handles. The back panel can be removed from the backpack and used as a seat cushion.

The Fjallraven Kanken Classic Backpack features a top carry handle as well as narrow and supple shoulder straps. To the inside of the bag is a back pocket containing a sitting pad which stops your belongings from hurting you back when in use and can be removed to sit on when taking a break.

Fjallraven Kanken Brand

Made for the outdoors Fjallraven specialise in clothing and accessories that merge style and functionality perfectly. Crafted using environmentally friendly materials, weatherproof coats and backpacks make up the bulk of its collection in shapes ranging from small to oversized, including the instantly recognisable Kanken pack. Look out for the signature ‘Artic fox’ logo from which the brand takes its name.

Fjällräven created the first Kånken in 1978 to spare the backs of school children, as back problems had begun to appear in increasingly younger age groups. Simple, stylish and functional, the Kånken backpack soon became a common sight in schools around the country, quickly spreading to cities around the world as an iconic (yet highly functional) Swedish export.
